Integrating Altair HyperStudy 12 with HPC Server 2008 R2
Altair recently released version 12.0 of Altair HyperStudy, a design optimization tool. The latest release supports a variety of solvers, but does not support submitting jobs to Microsoft HPC clusters out of the box.
TotalCAE has created a HyperStudy Windows HPC Server integration package for customers that want to leverage their Windows HPC cluster with HyperStudy. The TotalCAE integration packages supports both version 11.0 and version 12.0 of HyperStudy.
After installing the TotalCAE integration package and registering it in HyperStudy, engineers can transparently perform their design optimizations on their existing Microsoft HPC clusters.

TotalCAE Activation Filter 3.6 With License Pooling
The latest 3.6 release of the TotalCAE Activation Filter (TAF) now supports license pooling.
License pooling allows the HPC scheduler to look at multiple different license servers as a pool when considering if an application should start or not.
For example, TAF can look at multiple license servers that are in different locations, or owned by different departments, when making license aware scheduling decisions, allowing these to be pooled/aggregated if the application supports this.
This update is free to all customers on active maintenance.

TotalCAE Activation Filter with Matlab for License Aware Scheduling
The TotalCAE suite makes sure licensed applications like MathWorks Matlab™ do not start until sufficient application licenses are available on Microsoft HPC Server. This situation occurs when you have more hardware resources on your cluster than Matlab distributed licenses
